The department is responsible for improving human health and nutritional conditions and enhancing people's health through diet.
Educational Objectives
The Department of Food and Nutrition is based on the mission and educational goals of Seoil University to 'foster food and nutrition service professionals who create the dietary life required by the future society'. To this end, we aim to foster creative talents with on-site problem-solving capabilities and self-directed professional talents with competitiveness and a human-oriented service spirit through acquiring specialized knowledge and practical skills in food and nutrition and cultivating humanity and ethical awareness to promote public health and lead safe eating.

Department Characteristics
The Department of Food and Nutrition (3-year program) provides a practical curriculum for students to acquire expertise and skills in food, nutrition, cooking, hygiene, and catering. The faculty, comprised of passionate and highly qualified lecturers, strives to cultivate skilled professionals and provide more practice time and quality conditions so students have more experience and are highly satisfied. In addition, various majors are offered to help students acquire more specialized knowledge within the Department of Food and Nutrition and to fulfill its role as a practical discipline related to diet.
